While I take photographs,
I immerse into intimate moments
to connect deeper with myself,
humans and nature.

Taking it slow and telling stories by capturing what I see
with my feelings is my intuitive approach to my work.
Self-portrayal drew me in like nothing else and is a big part
of my body of work as a photographer.
The tiniest light is guiding and helping me grow
to love my body and how it carries me through life.

My most used medium is film, as it enable me to create
authentic stories by engaging in the present
and serene moments,
whether alone in a self-portrait or
with those who inspire me.

It is unpredictable in so many magical ways,
making me see beauty in myself and the world
around me in many different forms.

Carina Glugovsky (1992) born in Lienz, Austria.
Living and working in Vienna since 2015.

Growing up in a city surrounded by mountains
she craved to conquer new territories.
Moving to the capital of Austria, Vienna, was a very inspiring step
as the city opened up many different artistic possibilities.
Allowing her to still be living close to family and nature
but also being able to travel easily to foreign places to
challenge herself as a photographer and human being
with new perspectives and inspirations.
As a young artist she is balancing her daily life between work
and her passion for art, music, nature and spending time
for her personal growth and practice of self-love.
